A Beginner’s Guide to the Bhagavad Gita Designed for modern readers, this book offers a gentle entry into the Bhagavad Gita through 108 essential quotes, explained in a way that is thoughtful, relatable, and easy to understand—no prior knowledge required. The Bhagavad Gita is a mirror of the universe — a sacred dialogue between the mortal and the Divine. Emerging from the battlefield of Kurukshetra, this curation is presented as a metaphor for the inner landscape of human consciousness. In these 108 verses, the timeless voice of Krishna speaks to moments of doubt, action, surrender, and clarity. The true battle is not of swords, but of spirit — between who we are, who we strive to be, and who we are destined to become. Each verse offers a moment to pause, reflect, and return to stillness. This edition is curated as a premium art book, with a design-led approach that invites easy reading and contemplation. Each page is crafted to honour the depth of the verses, making this volume one that is not simply read, but revisited over time. Not a book to be read once, but a companion for the inward journey.

Actor I’ve always wanted to read the Bhagavad Gita, and I’ve read other versions too. But the text often feels heavy and difficult, and I don’t always manage to stay with it. This book has made it so easy for me. It contains all the core principles of the Gita in a way that’s simple to understand. Most importantly, when I hold this book, I genuinely feel the divine energy. This is not just a book—it is the Bhagavad Gita. I keep it by my bedside, and every night before sleeping, I simply open it, read one quote, one verse, and I understand it. Thank you for this work. It is truly amazing.

Author Really really excellent book!!!! Sooooo well written, aesthetic, beautiful and meaningful. Everything about the book is filled with beauty: the bag it’s delivered in, the aesthetics of the cover page, the aesthetics of every page and every font! It’s just so pretty to look at!!!! And it’s written in such a lovely way that it makes the Gita feel so approachable. And don’t miss the foreword, it’s really heartfelt, poignant, relatable and well articulated. One of the best reads I’ve had in a while. Would highly recommend!!!!

Midnight Media Solutions A Beginner’s Guide to the Bhagavad Gita is a beautiful and thoughtful book that gently opens the doors to this timeless scripture. The 108 quotes are explained in a way that feels simple, relatable, and deeply meaningful, even for someone who may be reading the Gita for the first time. What touched me most is how the book connects the wisdom of the Gita to real life. It reminds us that the true battle is within, and that clarity, faith, and surrender can guide us through every stage of our journey. I am truly grateful to Suchitra for creating this work with so much sincerity and heart. She has made the Gita accessible to the current generation without losing its depth and sanctity — and that is a rare gift. Beautifully designed and presented, this is not just a book you read once, but a companion you keep returning to for reflection and peace.

Plastic Surgeon Suchitra, what a masterpiece you’ve created here. Truly a masterpiece. From the packaging, to the beautiful bag this holy book arrived in, to the colours, and the preface you’ve written—there’s so much to admire. I’ve only read the first few pages and I’m already excited to read the rest. The slightly larger print and font make it so easy and comfortable to read. The bookmark inside, the overall design—so many thoughtful details. It’s genuinely a work of art. This is a book worth keeping close. I’ll keep it beside me, open it every day, read a little, and place it back. Whenever I’m in doubt, I’ll open it, read a few lines, and I’m sure it will help me. This is really, really beautiful. Fantastically done. Congratulations. Well done.

Singer. Music Teacher. Composer. 108 quotes from the Bhagavad Gita - this compilation is divine. You can feel the energy as soon as you hold the book. As a music teacher I am thrilled to be able to compose these sanskrit verses in their original and teach them to my young students. Thank you Suchitra for this beautiful book .I can't tell you how surreal it is to sit in brahma muhurtam & understand the verses. Re read and make it into a tune.
